Farm Highlight - Andrew H

“When I go to Rainbow, I feel calm and relaxed.”

Andrew began riding in 2013. Andrew’s skills have grown in the 8 years that he has been riding and he’s had the opportunity to try different riding disciplines from jumping to Western riding. 

Although Andrew has ridden many horses over his years at Rainbow, Worthy is currently his favorite horse to ride. As Andrew is learning to ride Western for the first time, Worthy has been the perfect teacher. The two are working on controlling the speed of Worthy’s trot and the different riding techniques needed to ride in Western tack. 

Andrew has learned not just about riding but also about caring for his horse. He shares that his current goals are, “To achieve perfection in caring for the horse and riding.”
